this message comes up when I run program. i am unable to run program
SHA.EXE - Entry Point Not Found" The procedure entry point _resetstkoflw could not be located in the dynamic link libray msvcrt.dll.
I found the solution to "The procedure entry point _resetstkoflw could not be located in the dynamic link libray msvcrt.dll." To do this:
1. Right-click on the START button. 2. Select EXPLORE. 3. Click on the + next to C:\Program Files. 4. Double-click on SIERRA. 5. Double-click on the SHA folder. 6. Find the msvcrt.dll file. 7. Delete it.
I know this is an old message but anyone having this problem, breathe a relief, it's a simple fix. just follow these instructions
1.right click on START
2.click on EXPLORE
3.double click the + (plus sign)
4.double click on SIERRA folder
5.double click on SHA folder
6.find MSVCRT.dll folder
7.right click on it and choose DELETE
on mine I able to go from 3 to 5 sha was already there.
Bless the person who shared this solution, It works go do your home building
We began getting this a while ago and gave up using the program. Today I finally sat down and researched .dll files and common errors. Finally figured out that all you need to do (at least for Windows XP) is go into c:\WINDOWS\system32 and find the same file. Highlight it, then right-click and copy the file into you SHA file. It would take me forever to explain why this works, so I won't -- but it does work. :-)

I have had this installed on my XP for more than a year with few problems--none that affected the way it ran. Suddenly one day when I tried to "Start with a Blank Design", I got the message "Sierra Home Architect (tm) has encountered a problem and needs to close." The option "Open Most Recent Design" sometimes does nothing. HOWEVER, I can open any of the Designer Rooms and change that any way I want to, and I can open any of my saved designs through the File menu inside the program. I can live with this but it would be nice if it worked like it used to! I have uninstalled and re-installed, restarted, and defragged my computer several times since this started happening. Could it be that one of the Windows updates has affected the program?

I read to delete the file msvcrt.dll to fix my problem of not being able to even open sierra home architect but now once I get it open it's saying the program has encountered a problem and needs to close. When I go to view the errors it says it's another SHA problem.

Sierra Home Architect will not let me save any of my work. It will ask if I want to save when I close down the program and if I say yes, the program does nothing. Also, even when I try to save manually by pressing the "save" button, nothing happens. What do I do?
