Cant reset to optical receiver when pressing reset button...mouse works ok
Then it is the problem of driver so reintall the it
and you can check the batteries for replacement

thank you for your assistance...my keyboard is Microsoft Wireless Multimedia Keyboard 1.1...I inserted the disk that came with package hopefully to reinstall the driver.
got message to check for solutions on line as "this program has known compatibility issues"

I could not find anything there that applied to vista system or driver download...can you send me link to driver please ?...hope so what you say makes good sense..must be the driver if mouse works
