If the printer is dead - no power- no LED lighting at all, and the power cord is OK, then look at the power supply section for a defect. A fuse could be blown, or some component failure. Note- if a fuse is blown, this is usually due a component failure, and the exact problem must be located.
If you have some technical skills, a VOM or digital voltmeter, you might be able to pinpoint the problem. A circuit diagram would be helpful also.

This is the problem with your scanner. If it is under warranty please take it to Hp Service center and they will replace it free for you.
