The dishwasher started leaking water and shortly afterwards showed the E1 error.
After receiving the E1 error, I checked the inlet filter and it is clean. No bends in the inlet pipe either and I have good water pressure.
I then unplugged the dishwasher for a couple of hours, and then switched it on again.
It does not come up with the E1 error anymore, but leaks a lot of water now (within 5 minutes). When I open the device, the whole floor section is flooded with water. I cleaned the floor section filters as well, to no avail..same problem.

Thank you. I found the water leak. It was the water heater assembly that leaked the water... replaced it, all is fine now. Thanks for your help.

When my LG dishwasher runs, there's a loud, high-pitched noise. It seems to stop when water drains, but then it comes right back. Lasts almost the whole cycle.
