Question about Dell 962 Photo All-In-One InkJet Printer
I had a problem similar to this and it turned out the printer cartridge itself was bad. One quick call to Dell and they sent a replacement cartridge right away. The cartridges have a (one year?) warranty separate from the printer.
Call Dell customer support and they can send a replacement cartridge. Do remember that they'll want you to send the defective cartridge back to them after you receive the new one. You might also want to check your purchase records (email receipt?) before calling to make sure you have all your information ready.
