You can find the battery chargers on online auction sites both OEM and non OEM for very reasonable prices that work just fine ( I have the same camera and have purchased one this way and it works great).
Try it, you won't be disappointed.

FYI, I own the Sony Cybershot in question, and it does not support charging through the data port.
