Hi Tatearian,

Ximeta, like many external drive manufacturers use a fairly custom AC adapter. Finding a replacement is not only difficult but often costs more than the enclosures are worth.

The simplest and cheapest thing to do is go to your local PC shop, ask the technicians there to remove the hard drive from the enclosure and put it in a new one. This won't cost any more than buying a replacement adapter and will be much simpler to do.

Hope this helps FixYa,

Chris

What kind of adapter do i use for my keyboard Casio ca-110

if you don't want to wait, you can go to radio shack and get a universal adapter for a bit more, but it should work no problem.

Finding lost charge cords, connectors, & adapters for 1$

Thrift Stores usually have bins full of all kinds of cords; chargers, connectors, adapters-you name it-and only a dollar each! I've found everything from expensive, top-of- the-line USB to USB cords to the oddball power cord to my old waffle iron. No matter how old or how new, common or uncommon, digging through the bins at your local thrift store saves not only money, but time and effort as well.

Power chord adapters Need parts to power tpl-c01 from auto and home

go to radio shack. Buy a multiple amp adapter. it will range from 3 to 12.0. normally on a player like this, it will operate at 9.0. be sure that the adapter is set at 9 when plugging it in or it will blow the fuse in the cord. If that happens, u can always buy a fuse just about anywhere.

Power cord not working

Try unpluggin the power cord and check with battery.
Check whether battery is charging with the power chord on.
Try with a different wall socket.
If this does not help.
Try with a different power chord of the same kind and check whether it works.
If yes, the power chord is the ussue. Best would be to replace it.
else
Try your power chord in a laptop similar kind and check whether the other laptop works fine.
Try juggling the power cord and check whether it gives supply. If yes then check for AC adapter for any damages or cuts. If any is found the contact manufacturer for replacement.
else Main board is the issue.
But before this I would request you to go to the website and check for Updated BIOS and updates for chipset driver.
If any is available then download and install.
Check with your AC adapter if it works, Good, else I would request you to contact the manufacturer for a Main board issue.
They would replace the main board if under warranty.

Power chord won't charge laptop

If you need to wiggle the cord in order for it to charge, then you have a problem.
If you have to wiggle it at the computer, you probably have either a bad plug on the adapter or the power connector on the motherboard is going bad. This situation will not cure itself. It will only get worse.
Check the voltage at the end of the power adapter cord (the plug where it goes into the computer). If it's constant even when you wiggle the plug, you're gonna be looking for a new motherboard soon. I have actually replaced the power adapter on motherboards, but it's tricky--you have to be really good with a soldering iron!

MP830 will not power on

Here is what Canon has to say:
Solutions for Printer won't power up Issue: The device does not power on

1. Disconnect and Reconnect AC power adapter or power cord to the device and electrical source 2. Disconnect the power cord and wait approximately 10 minutes 3. Press the ON/OFF button to power on the multifunction device 4. Disconnect and reconnect the electrical cord to ensure a secure connection 5. The MP830 may require repair 6. Try a different electrical source / outlet
Here is a snip of my notes on the same subject for an Epson printer:
Well, first things first I guess:

  1. Try the printer in a different outlet (other side of room, or similar, not same power Jack)
    1. If you have power here, your issue is likely the outlet, not the printer.
  2. If the power cord has an "on" LED, check to see if it is lit up while plugged in.
    1. If you have an LED with no light while it is plugged in, you are looking at a power adapter that is no longer working
  3. If there is no "on" LED to check, your next best bet is to take your printer and power cord to a store that sells printers, and ask if you can "try" a new chord before buying it. (most stores will allow this to keep customers happy)
  4. You may also want to check with the manufacturer if the chord is found to be bad, as some will send replacements free of charge.
  5. The last option is that there is an issue inside the printer. This is not likely, though it is possible. Most printers have an external power adapter that keeps any power issue outside of the printer, but I can't tell from the Canon site if this printer has one or not. (It would be a black box between the plug and printer.)
    1. This can also be checked by "testing" a new chord at a store. New chord, still no power, internal issue.
      1. If this is the case you will want to contact Canon if the unit is still under warranty.
-Hope this helps.
