So are you running xp or windows 7, either way you could put in your operating system discs and go through the prompts and repair computer, windows 7 will find error and correct as will xp, but with xp if you choose repair you will lose all updates and servicepacks, or you could try these instructions on the link below http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307545 Cheers
Is there a reason to reset the password, I think Acer have put it there to stop people from messing, because they would have fine tuned it. You will have to get in touch with Acer. Sometimes under the ram slots there is a round flat battery, if there is, take it out and leave for a minute, then reinsert it.
Hi, The problem may be with, 1. Graphics driver installed in your laptop 2. The Video file which you are trying to play may got corrupted. 3. The player you are using to play the vedio may not have proper codec to play the file solutions: 1. Reinstall the graphics driver for your laptop 2. Try playing some other vedio files 3. Install VLC player and try playing using this player as it supports most of the vedio formats and even plays corrupted vedio files. I hope this is helpful to you.
It may well be similar to the procedure for the Travelmate 201T, for which I happen to have produced a YouTube video showing the procedure... hope this helps!
