Question about Nintendo Action Replay DS for DS and NDS Lite
I've pressed the little button that says 'Software Upgrade' but then it tells me, "Failed to load the setup file : Access to C:\Program Files\Datel\Action Replay Code Manager\setup.exe was denied."
What can I do to fix this? I tried reinstalling it from the disk, but now I can only get to the AR code manager if I have the above C:\ command. :( It doesn't show up in my programs list either.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Have you tried re-installing the Action Replay Code Manager through the
disc? I find that re-installation works for most computer programs when
the first-time-installation fails. Just choose the most recommended
settings (don't do manual stuff) and try again. If it still does not
-Check to see if your internet is connected properly
-Check the disc for any scratches; Scratches on the top of the disc are LETHAL to memory!

Many are experiencing this, what you are looking at here is a faulty action replay. go to the Datel website and submit your serial number to them, it will immediatly say whether or not your AR is from the time period when they had a problem with the internal USB reading system, if it is, then send it in and one will be shipped withing 10-12 weeks

You need to restart your action replay.
to do this follow these steps.
1. hold A and B while turning on your DS.
2. at the Nintendo screen hold start and select.(still holding A and B.)
3. Let go when the screen saying, nintendo dose not''blah blah'' this product.
4. Turn off when you see the action replay title screen.
Once restarted try and add a code.
I had the same problem, but i did the above.

SOURCE: Action Replay Code Manager Help
when i did this i had the same problem but while it does recognise it for just a little whyle, quickly press quick update and wait for the bar to go from one side to the other and then wait for it to
update your action replay from a to z and then it should recognise it after that but if not just do it again but dont push the wire in to far ok
