Question about Televison & Video
In rare situations a problem like this may not even be the remote control and the Remote Reader on the Celera TV may have stopped working. It's very unlikely that this has happened, but I'd recommend going and buying a replacement Celera Remote Control and seeing if that fixes the problem. If it does, you know it was the remote control, if it doesn't, it means there is a good chance that your celera tv has an issue. I know the site I have linked to offers a full refund if you are not satisfied with the remote. So give it a shot, and if it's not the remote that has the problem, just return the remote you ordered and get a full refund.

How old is that remote? More than 1.5 years maybe? What often happens is when you're eating snacks, or other food, it gets on your fingers and then works it's way into the remote. Sometimes it's just the oil from your fingers without eating anything.
The quick way to check it is to try a couple of the buttons you use the least, and see if that works. If it does, then follow my instructions below, if it doesn't, then I'm barking up the wrong tree.
Remove the case and get some rubbing alcohol, paper towels and q-tips. Wipe off the majority of the finger oil with a dry paper towel. Then go at it with a paper towel or q-tip with alcohol on it, whatever is easiest to use.

Some time the problems like this are came from the bad solder inside. If you have a soldering experience try to open and review all internal solder.
