DOnt charge your ipod via the firecable while your computer is on. If you do, the ipod gets hot and the hard drive spins (hold it to your ear, you can hear it do so). If you have a laptop, you can close the lid and charge off the comp without running the drive and getting hot.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

I filled out a survey to win a ipod,i got charged 1.00 then later got charged99.00 i need that money back in my account,im not sure how this stuff worksor even if im talking to the right people,,it's

If the charges are on your phone bill, contact your phone provider. If they are on your credit card, contact your credit card provider and tell them that you've been scammed and want the charges removed. Then Don't respond to any more surveys to win anything.

How to get the most out of your iPod battery

When you first get the iPod make sure to fully charge it. Then only charge the iPod when it is so dead that it will not stay on long enough to play anything. Then allow the battery to charge until a screen appears saying fully charged. This may seem redundant but it ensures the batteries capacity will be maximized for as long as possible. There are only about 1800 charge cycles in an iPods battery life. This may seem like a lot of charging ability but when you wish to keep the iPod for more than a year and a half it becomes more realistic that it is not.
Above all else, never ever remove the iPod from the computer without ejecting it first.
If you are for some reason unable to properly eject the iPod, first shut down your computer before removing the iPod.

How to use an ipod shuffle charge

Use iPod Reset Utility to restore the following iPod models back to their factory settings when iTunes is unable to do so. The process completely erases all music and data and reinstalls the iPod software version listed below:
  • iPod shuffle (1st generation) - iPod Software version 1.1.5
  • iPod shuffle (2nd generation) - iPod Software version 1.0.4
download here
http://support.apple.com/downloads/iPod_Reset_Utility_1_0_4_for_Windows
then install..
follow these instructions..
Using iPod Reset Utility
  1. Quit all running applications on your computer.
  2. Open iPod Reset Utility.
  3. Connect iPod to a USB port on your computer. Do not connect iPod to a USB port on your keyboard, or other non-powered USB hub.
  4. Click the Reset button.
  5. If prompted, enter an administrator name and password. Notice: Do not disconnect iPod during the reset process.
  6. When complete, quit iPod Reset Utility and open iTunes to load music onto iPod.

Uninstall itunes from your computer and re-install the same itunes version you had before. Make sure your ipod is fully charged and then plug it in and have a go at it.
