Will not power up. Red power light only blinks.

If you have sound and no picture, it's time for a new lamp.

In the manual check under LED indication, It explains the blinking lights, unless your outside at night looking up!

My blank screen, red flashing light projection tv

Most likely the lamp has failed. The red light will blink with a pattern (number of flashes then a pause) You can refer to the users manual for information as to the nature of the problem by the aforementioned pattern.

Cheers

Redslight blinking have no picture

Have you replaced the lamp before? If not, I recommend you do it, since it may be what's causing this. There is power on the TV since you get the blinking light, so it's most probable the lamp.

Toshiba TZ43V61 43 in. Rear Projection... Problem

Try unplugging unit for 5 minutes, then plug in and turn on. If this works, your power supply may be going. However it is more likely that the bulb is gone, you can replace it yourself, but make sure you get the right bulb for that unit and take care in the installation of it.Go to the manufacturers website and look up your model and find out how to inspect and remove the bulb.
Bulbs can run for 140 to $300 and can be found on EBAY

95% 0f the time when this happens to a toshiba projection or regular set, the power regulator IC is bad. It is a componet that should be replaced by a service technician as there are too many points inside this set that can zap you and hurt you. If thats the only problem your talking in the range of 175 to 250 to repair this set. Good Luck
