SOURCE: How to enter phone numbers into the memory/speed dial?

The manual from the GE web site is here:

http://www.home-electronics.net/ge/pc/IB/29267GE3_IB.pdf

It's a pretty straightforward process, Pick up the handset press STORE a location (0-9) STORE dial the number STORE

With only 10 storable numbers it's pretty thin, but you also have the last 50 CID numbers to dial. If you live in an area with more than one local area code (overlays) and mixed 10 digit dialing, it looks like you may have some programming to do to make it dial CID numbers properly.

Wow! No answer since 1/16/13 - 2+1/2 years. At this point don't know if it helps but...

Menu - Contacts - Options - Phonebook Settings - Speed Dial. Set status on and from there seems pretty intuitive to me.

I had the same problem and found that the speed dial feature in "settings" is not turned on by default even though voice mail number is pre-programed into the speed speed list. Go to "Settings & Tools/Call Settings/One Touch Dial" and turn the option on.

Adding numbers into speed dial is a little weird. You press "store" then enter the number, then press "store" again and then press the speed dial button you wish to save it to, and the screen should say "ok" after you are all done.
