Question about Dryers
Return it...and get a 3 prong dryer cord.
Place the middle conductor on the middle of the terminal block and the two outside conductors on the two outside terminals of the block. It makes no difference which way just so they are not on the middle terminal. Make sure they are tight but don't over-tighten to break the terminal block. The cord will probably cost less than the "adapter" did.
