Question about Kitchen Appliances - Others
Our outdoor security light does not come on. We see the red light flashing on it sensing motion but the lights do not come on. If I switch to TEST position they come on ,so bulbs are good and has 120 volt input. This has happened a few other sporatic times seems like after a rain.
Could it be a loose wire nut with the internal cluster of wires from the switches and sensitivity potentiometer which in test mode possibly bypasses everything?
Obviously its not the hot or neutral from the power source.
I cleaned the glass eye shield per say.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

hi,there are a lot of possibilities y ur dsl light wont stop flashing red, 1.could be hardware failure,2.defective lead light for dsl,3.or line issue on the network...i strongly recommend that you contact your isp or att provider so that test would be done by their tech support,...basically you have checkd all inside wirings n as you have said you even tested the nid already...have you tried changing the dsl cable or phone cable? have you tried using another modem? were you using a filter for your dsl? you have to consider also other emi/rfi or electronic interference....but most probably you might try upgrading your modem n see if your gonna get a steady dsl light...the ethernet plugs has no effect on the dsl light...its just the cable connection or line issue or defective modem...i hope this will help, pls feel free to ask if you need further astnce...

Based on what you've written, it should be black to red, white to white, and green to green. If you still have trouble, post a picture so I can have a better look of this photo-cell.
Hope this helps,

there could be a few reasons for this,
1. the timer could have been damaged during a power surge, = unusable and needs replacement
2. The program set to switch on and off was lost, and needs to be reset, try to operate the reset button, and setting the parameters again., If this is the cace, make sure the backup battery is still ok
