Question about Dell HQRP Replacement Laptop AC Adapter
I bought an HQRP Dell replacment charger for my Dell Inspiron 1525 and when I plugged it in to my computer where it worked for about a day then it refused to charge. It's currently at 94% charge and it has been that way for a day now. It says the battery is idle, which means the battery is obviously not doing it's job. No matter what power setting I set it to, it refuses to charge, staying at 94%, never getting higher, never getting lower. I would like to know how to get it charging again.
Are you using the correct replacement?take the battery out .use a toothbrush ,brush the contacts on the battery and the contacts on the computer try charging again.
