My Jet JTAS-10XL tilting mechanism locked up when cranking it back to 90 degrees.Does not appear to have any way to free it up. Is it pitch buildup?

I would guess pitch or just saw dust in the gears. I have had on my saw that i cranked it up just a little to much and it locked up on the gear. I ended up taking the blade out and loosened the gears and shaft on the tilting mechanism to relief the pressure. Put it back together and it worked fine.

How do you change a blade on model 36-075

Lots of saws have left hand threads on the nut that holds the blade in place. It is designed so that if the saw starts up and the nut isn't snug, the nut and the blade slipping on the turning arbor would tend to tighten the nut as they slip against the force of the spinning arbor.
1. Unplug the saw.
2. Hold on to the blade tightly with one hand.
3. Put the wrench on the arbor nut and turn it in the direction you would turn it as if the wrench were turning the blade to cut wood.

If you've previously overtightened the blade, jamb a piece of wood against the teeth and the saw table top and then follow step 3.

If the motor is on the left side of the blade as you face the saw, then it's a standard right hand nut.
If the motor is on the right side of the blade as you face the saw, then its a left handed nut.

First guess would be a lock bolt is tightened down. Second guess would be a 90 degree latch or stop. Take a look at this link from "mikestools": http://www.mikestools.com/download/Jet-Owners-manuals/Jet%20Tablesaws/708661.pdf.

I have a 1/16" tilt

Your question is not very clear. Here are several answers.
By tilt you may be speaking of bevel adjustment 0 - 45 Some saws have hidden under the table or obvious positive bevel stops or screws in the table top for 90 and 45 degree. Adjust them.
You may have a bent or warped blade causing the "tilt."
Thin blades may be stiffened with blade stabilizing washers $14
With the saw unplugged remove the blade. Grab the threaded arbor shaft and pull it up and down. Next push the shaft straight in and out. If there is wiggle the bearings are worn and may need replacing.

How do I align the saw blade with the saw table I have a 10 inch Delta Contractor's saw that is about 10 years old. The blade is not straignt with the miter slot. andyc@bergeralllied.com

The Blade Arbor is held to the bottom of the table with mounting screws and stop/adjusting screws. Loosen the mounting screw and adjust the stop screws to make Blade true with miter slot.

I took the front cover off of the switch and noticed the portion of the switch the off button contacts was fully depressed and would not slide back to its proper position. I lubed (silicone) the slide portion of the off switch and cycled it manually to free it up and distribute the lubrication.
