Question about HP Pavilion dv6628us notebook
Pavilion dv6628us bios update on battery power, laptop does not detect ac power when is plugged in, updating bios is impossible on battery power i need assistance to solve this issue. thanks
You cannot update your BIOS on battery power because if your battery dies while updating the BIOS, your PC will not function at all because the BIOS would be corrupt. So your PC won't take the chance of that happening.... smart PC..
Your PC doesn't recognize your A/C adapter?... then you either have a bad A/C adapter, or a bad charger port on your motherboard. either way you will have to buy one or the other in order to update your BIOS.
you shouldn't NEED to update your BIOS... u can live with an older version
