Question about Canon Office Equipment & Supplies
We have a Canon PC 400 copier. When making a copy, there are black spots on the copy every 4 inches on the edge of the paper. The toner is fairly new.
Remove the toner/drum cartridge. Carefully rotate the drum, via the end with gear, to check the edges for toner spots like appear on the copies. If located on drum, GENTLY wipe off with a dry cotton ball. Reinstall cartridge. Check to see that spots are gone. If spots reappear, replace with new cartridge (drum most likely damaged)

Tips for a great answer:
service mode > copier > adjust > adjust xy > adjust Y input the value from the label on the front cover
This is all I could find. Try adjusting by 1/4 inch. Thank you Santosh
