Get some canned air from the electronics or office supply store (I think even Walmart in the electronics dept)

Turn the laptop OFF. Now open it but then turn it on its side - the keyboard will be up & down instead of flat. Take the canned air and spray into the keypad, sweeping from top to bottom.

Now turn it back upright & turn it on. Little pieces of dust get under the keys sometimes and prevent things from working right, so repeat as needed.

Hi,
If the problem is intermittent then the problem could just be foreign objects like crumbs and hair that's trapped under the keys.

Turn the laptop off and stand it on it's side with the lid open. Get a soft, dry paintbrush and brush the keys, gently tap the keyboard in various places with the back of the paintbrush to help dislodge anything that's trapped.

Once your satisfied all the keys are clear turn the laptop on and see if it has made any difference.

Good luck.

If any specific key is doing this then take off the key and press the rubber piece with your finger to test the connection without any mechanical interference. Failing that you are sure the button is pressing correctly open the laptop and reseat all keyboard connectors prior to keyboard replacement.

I have a 2000 Dodge Stratus with a random misfire on 1,3 and 5. The engine runs fine besides a twitch in the motor that can be felt while idling. Already replaced plugs and wires. Suggestions?

get the OBD codes read this will tell you which switch/sensor is causing the issue , the last random misfire i encountered turned out to be low cylinder compression so if the OBD code says " random misfire " then get the cylinder compressions read , hope this helps

This is normally a indicator that key is stuck, or multiple key strikes on the keyboard. It could also be an intermittent problem. Either way, this isn't something to get overly concerned with, unless it gets worse.

Remote problem

It sounds like an intermittant Infared sensor problem or there is an intermittant solder connection between the sensor and the controler chip. Good Luck
