Our Ice maker is not producing ice. I've tried using a hair dryer to melt possible frozen water. It worked once, but now that ice maker is back to not producing ice.

The heating element is not working to heat the base and free the ice from the tray. At this point it's probably better to just replace the ice maker. They are about 60-70$

Kenmore side by side. No water getting to the ice maker. Water in the door works fine. Have already replaced the filter.

Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. It’s on the back where the water supply comes in. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear.

The water inlet valve on the back of unit opens when the ice maker needs water. If the valve doesn't seal good because of sediment or wear it will continue to drip and when the water reaches the ice maker supply tube it will freeze blocking the fill tube.. You can take the water line off the valve and watch to see if it drips.

Ice maker won't send water to unit. Solenoid is good

Make sure the fill tube where the water goes into the ice mold is not full of ice. Your old valve may have been leaking and it will freeze in the fill tube. Other than than maybe start the ice maker working by filling it with water and see if it dumps and refills.
You can swap the wires on the inlet valves and try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker letting you know the valve works and the line is clear.

My Kenmore icemaker seems to be leaking water under the icemaker and it drips and freezes

If it overfills and drips, look for an adjustment behind the plastic endcover with a +/- on it. - is less water.

If it continuously drips, replace the water inlet valve on the back where the house water supply comes in.
