Question about Nintendo DS Lite Console
When playing games on my ds after about ten minutes it freezes up.or the two screens go blank.it has been droped.
Hmm, trouble with things that have been dropped is that small components can come off the board, or the force imparted into the component can pull on the solder joint and create a fracture. With intermittency like that, the usual case is that the joint is just touching and works for a while but with heat expansion, just pulls away slightly and breaks contact. This can even happen with SMD microprocessors. Often the hairline dry joints are almost impossible to see. Some engineers resort to heating the whole electronics PCB to reflow all solder joints in a last bid attempt at repairing the device, but this can be risky. A bit of a kill or cure, but if nothing is to be lost...
