Question about Whirlpool Cabrio WTW6600SBT Top Load Washer
You need to replace the agitator dogs. Yes, there is such a thing. This is a very simple repair that should take 30 minutes or less. The following link explains:
The dogs are located under the Auger (thats the top portion of the agitator). They are plastic teeth that act as a clutching mechanism for driving the auger during the wash cycle. Over time they simply wear out. The part number is included in the link I provided. You can purchase replacements at appliancepartspros.com for about $5.
