My keyboard is really touchy, on several of the keys

Before you replace the keyboard, try this:

Go to Start>Control Panel>Keyboard

There should be 2 adjustable settings: Repeat Delay, and Repeat Rate.

Move the slider to the left on both settings.

If you cannot get satisfactory results through this, it is probably time for a new keyboard.

Thanks for using Fixya.

My front brakes seem to be very touchy. Could

Did you recently replace the pads? Sintered pads (as opposed to the regular organic or semi-metallic) are very "grabby." If they are not grabby, what exactly do you mean by "touchy?"

Palm keyboard 3169ww

I had exact same problem, here is what I did:
- remove all palm software from main computer, reboot
- reinstall palm software, reboot
- get updates from for Palm desktop and install, reboot
- get latest keyboard driver from and install, reboot
I have a T/X and keyboard #3169WWZ and I am now fully functional again.
good luck

PC with ASUS P5LD2 Motherboard suddenly become inactive

That seems to be an odd problem, my recommendation is just to check the basics.  Test the power supply.  Make sure the memory is well seated.  Run memtest 86 and prime 95.  And if you have more than 3gb or ram take some out and try it, xp gets touchy if it has over 3.
