Question about Apple iPod classic MP3 Player
Does it work 100% once it is up an running and plugged into the charger? If so, it's most likely a battery issue. If it also acts up when connected to the charger, it looks more like a logic board issue. There is a website that shows you how to dismantle the ipod classic oso you can replace those components yourself. If all of that fails you can send it to an independent ipod classic repair company.

You probably need a new battery. Maybe time to upgrade? Try a full restore using iTunes first and see if that makes any difference.
