Re: hiii sirrr

I personally have not heard of that motherboard type, it would be more helpful if you had a model number. Its an old machine so i would say the best bet is to open the case up and find the model number printed on the board itself. this will help us find the correct drivers and get the machine online

If you have a seperate video card in that motherboard. Take it out and reseat it, then try again. If you have a spare video card, try that.

Am having a problem with my hp motherboard 322318-001. When i switch it on there is a red lead labelled Nb ALERT that comes on then one with CPU 1 ERR which is amber. There is no display on the screen.

Check that all components are properly seated (I would start with the CPU/Heatsink since that light is also on). Once all components are properly seated (CPU, RAM, expansion cards, graphics/sound cards (if any)) you should at least get a display and see your machine POST.

Display not comming ,even I discconect hardrive , only for 2min. display come and then gone board and ram is new just replace my cpu from old baord to new gigabayte g31 board..plz tell me i m very...

Disconnecting the hard drive will not influence the system's graphics. If the display turns on, then abrubtly turns off when you power on the machine, check to make sure the CPU is good, if it is a known working CPU, and the CPU is suppoted by your PC, you may need to reset the bios to default* Then boot the PC, and if it functions, enter bios, and set the settings as needed.

*there's usually a jumper, check your motherboard documentation

No display by gigabyte GA8i915me motherboard

It sounds like your CPU might be overgeating. Check the CPU heatsink fan to see if it is spinning. Also, make sure that you clean out any dust, as this can lead to overheating also.

New motherboard will not boot

It appears that you are aware of Motherboard jumpers.

1. Reset BIOS settings by CMOS Clear jumper ( Location of jumber is given on the sticker / manual of motherboard )

2. Try updating BIOS of your motherboard from the following link :

3. Plug only Optical Driver / Hard disk at a time and check.

4. Contact your vendor and get the motherboard replaced.

Hiiiiii sir

Hi mate, to find your motherboard model, turn the machine on, as it boots it should show the model no. breifly on the screen. Option to enter bios should be present. If you enter bios the model number should also be shown on screen.

Once you have the model number, u can use google to search for the drivers for that model. download the drivers, then install them on the machine. Reboot and it should work.

another way to find the model number is to look on the motherboard itself, should be on the side or middle.

Once again i hope helps

Hiii sir

some softer drivers are included under windows, some are not, like for example your network drivers arent. u will have to install them manually from the CD that came with the motherboard.

Hope it helps
