If you mean an add-on card for internal use, your owner's guide should have that bit of info and if not, check the bottom plate of the case for an access 'door' that may require a small screwdriver to remove. The slots are normally accessible for memory expansion.
I hope you have a slot free for upgrade at all; not every system leaves one empty but may use it to supplement permanent memory on the motherboard.

Memory card error

Make sure you're using SD cards. If the cards are larger than 2GB then they're actually SDHC cards. While they fit in the slot they are electronically incompatible and will not work. You need to use SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

K100d wont format memory card

Make sure your new memory card is an SD card. If it's larger than 2GB then it's actually an SDHC card. While it fits into the slot, an SDHC card will not work in devices designed only for SD cards.

Hi i got a 32 gb sansa fuze memory card.. like 2 weeks ago. from buy.com and well today i got my sansa fuze white player. the memory card will not fit into the player. I would like to get a memory card...

From your description, you seem to have bought a regular SDHC (secure digital high-capacity) card. A Sansa Fuze can only accept micro SD or micro SDHC cards. For buying a new card, I would suggest this card from newegg.com. As for other things you mentioned: No, the card you bought is not meant for cameras only, the only reason your device uses micro SD/SDHC cards is because it is a smaller device. The 4 on your card signifies that it is class 4 which is the card's speed classification.

Bought new sdhc memory card and it reads memory card error please help

The A620 is designed to work with SD cards, not SDHC cards. SDHC cards will fit into the slot but are electronically different. You'll have to stay with SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

I bought a 1GB memory card for my son's Acer T180 that matches the memory card requirements, but it does not fit. What am I doing wrong?

Be very careful when handling memory. Don't touch the gold contacts. Put the old and new memory beside each other, contacs to contacts, but not touching. Are the notches the same, are there the same number of contacts, is the length the same? When putting memory in, the latches must be all the way open, and the memory perfectly centered and aligned in the slot, no time for poor vision. The notch is not in the middle, the memory only goes one way. Then push the memory down until the latches click in on their own.

Memory card problem

Are you sure you have the right type of memory card? Make sure you use an SD/MMC card. You might try another SD card.

Is this a new camera? I bought one once and the card slot was defective. I took it back right away, rather than trying to force a card into it.
