Nokia7370- retrieval of data

Thank you immensely for your response.
I might ask further few questions that might make me sound docile, so please forgive me. Im not phone savvy.

With a clear white screen on the phone when on, how would i be able to download any data?

I have taken it into a store and they said they could not retrieve anything from the phone.

Nothing was saved to sim and i this phone does not have any chip to save it to...so therefore everything was saved to phone

COULD YOU PLEEEASE TELL ME OF ANY OTHER ALTERNATIVES. If only you knew how desperate i am at retrieving my text back.

I sincerly do appreciate the time taken to respond to me.

I have tried calling my phone, but nothing happens.

It turns on but remains a white screen before it goes off completey.

Just NOKIA comes on and then the bettery symbol and that's it!

When I have taken it to a phone shop, they did plug in a cable but somehow could not have anything extracted from the phone.

What's so terrible is that the phone is not old for it to react the way it has.
I have another Nokia phone that's a few months old that has done the same thing.

Please, is there any other alternative?

If i take it into a nokia shop, what would i need to tell them to do in order to maintain the data while repairing??

I admire your dedication to help others outside your 'real' job. People like myself depend on you, you have no idea.

I am working in Saudi Arabia, and i found it hard to find a trust worthy technician. This is why im feeling a little frustrated.

Can you tell me whether or not it would be possible to retrieve the data based on the condition of the phone?

Is this common with these phones?

How this all happened, I was talking on the phone while the battery went dead. From then i could not have it working as normal. It never turned back on.

Please i need some kind of hope.

I will keep you posted on the progression, if any.

I want my messages more than i care for the phone. I will be happy to break it if need be to retrieve the data, but lets wait and see.
