I am trying to wire up whirlpool cooker hob supplied to ikea but the terminals are labelled E, R and N how do they relate to live, neutral and earth. I'm thinking E is obviously earth but is N neutral and R live??

Ok if R is live use tester volt meter 110 volts connect tester from cord terminal one tester connect to R the nmulti tester read 110 volt if ok good .

- If that connection ok you may assemble be sure unplug the power cord before perform works.
