Most cameras are not able to crop pictures. You can do this after moving the files and using a program, like windows photo gallery.

Most cameras will not have that feature built into them. The editing and display software that came with your camera will let you make those changes. You should check the manufacturers website to download the most recent version of that software.

Screen is stuck fully expanded on startup screen

Maybe you have turned on the Zoom settings from the Accessibility menu. To zoom out, Triple tap the screen with three fingers until the screen zooms out. To disable Zoom, go to Settings > General > Accessibility, look for Zoom then click to disable.

Tips for Zoom:
- To zoom in or out, triple tap the screen.
- To adjust the magnification of the screen, press and hold with three fingers, then scroll up and down to change.
- To navigate the screen, swipe using three fingers to left, right, up or down.

Hope it helps!

Need acer 5515 parts manuel

Sorry I'm so late, I just viewed this problem.

Service Manual (Free) for Acer Aspire 5515 series Notebook PC's,

http://www.tim.id.au/blog/tims-laptop-service-manuals/#toc-acer

Go to the second Aspire heading. The one that begins with Aspire 1200
Go down to the 7th line, and scroll across to 5515.
Left-click on 5515

If you are aware of the following please disregard;

The Service Manual is in PDF file format. The computer you are using now has Adobe Reader on it, which uses PDF files.

(If the computer you are using does not have the latest Adobe Reader on it, Adobe Reader X, I would suggest downloading it from Adobe.com, and installing it ) { Adobe Reader 10 }

After you click on the file name, (5515), it may take up to 30 seconds before the first page comes up.
(Took 17 seconds just now. Using Adobe Reader X, and a medium speed DSL connection )

You may be looking at a white page with - Acer Aspire Service Guide -
on it, and what looks to be no way to navigate around.
If so hover your mouse cursor in the middle/bottom of the page.
The ghosted out navigation guide will now appear.

The icon all the way to the Left in the navigation guide is a Floppy Disk icon. Left-click on this icon, to save a copy of the PDF service manual, to the computer you are using.

This way you can burn a copy off to CD disk for safekeeping, and access anytime you wish; plus after checking the quality of the copy, you can delete it from the computer, and save harddrive space.

After you click on the Floppy Disk icon a small window will come up,
Save a copy
At the bottom of the Save a copy window is the heading - File name:

In the box to the right of File name: is aspire 5515.pdf
This is good enough to easily find the file again, by this name.

At the top left of the Save a copy window, is Save in:
In the box to the right, determines where this PDF file will be saved to.
I would suggest the Downloads folder.

[ WinXP:
Click on Start, then My Documents. DOUBLE-click on Downloads

Win Vista and Win 7:
Click on the Windows logo button, then on Documents. DOUBLE-click on Downloads.

(When you see the file name double-click on it to open it ]

To change the destination of the service manual (PDF), left-click on the blue Down Arrow to the right of the Save in box.
In the 'tree' click on where you want the file to go.

WinXP:
Desktop, or My Documents, or Downloads

Win Vista/Win 7:
Desktop, or Documents, or Downloads

Now go below, and click on Save.

Also, if you bring the navigation guide up, and click on the Adobe PDF icon all the way to the right, (Show Adobe Reader toolbar), you'll have more navigation.

No Bookmarks menu for this PDF file. Does have the normal Up and Down Arrows for page up/page down, and the Zoom In/Zoom Out feature.
( + Zoom In, - Zoom Out )

The actual page numbers of the manual, do not relate to the page numbers of the PDF reader.
The PDF reader page numbers, are shown in the box in the top header,
to the right of the Down Arrow.

You can use the Down/Up arrows to arrive at the page you want, page by page, or;
1) Put your mouse cursor in the PDF reader page number box at the top
2) Left-click once. (Box contents are now blue)
3) Type the page number in the box
4) Press the Enter key

FRU = Field Replaceable Unit
A part that a tech can change away from the shop.
(Meaning you )

Machine Disassembly and Replacement starts on Page 52 of the PDF reader
FRU List starts on Page 156
Parts number list is under each of the Exploded Drawings

I have a panasonic lumix DMC FZ 45 and I cannot figure out how to take panoramic pictures. When I take pictures of the room or view it just keeps saying next, retake and exit. Can you help please?

Hi. In Scene>panorama assist, a grid is shown on screen and things get confusing!

1. The initial choice needs to be made between

left >right (for a sequence of shots made while 'panning' towards the right)

right >left.

down >up.

up >down.

e.g. if 'left >right' is selected:-

2. After the first shot has been taken, a preview is displayed without the grid.
- the 1st shot can be cancelled with 'retake', or saved for the sequence with 'next'.

3. If 'next' was selected a 'ghost', of what was in the right hand panel of the 1st image, will be shown on the left as an overlay in the LCD display, together with the grid.

The camera can now be panned to the right to try to align the ghost of the right part of the 1st shot with the left side of the new view. The 2nd shot can now be taken,

The combined image is shown, without the grid, which may or may not show good alignment of the 1st and 2nd images - so you can choose to 'retake' the 2nd image, or choose 'next' again.

If you choose 'next', it's back to no.3, above

....and so on until you choose exit, when the sequence can be transfered to PC for stitching with an image editing program.

Hope that helps!

I'm suddenly having an issue w/ my new D3000. When shooting, the image doesn't show on the screen. It does appear after shooting for review, but when taking the photo, the screen is black/grey. I haven't...

If you've really been seeing the image before taking the shot, then there was something seriously wrong with your camera which now appears to have fixed itself. The D3000 doesn't have the LiveView feature. The screen is for the menu and reviewing images you've already taken.

Hello my phones (nokia 6710 navigator ) keypad is lagging. And how to turn off zooming when i am waching pictures or filming video?

Install Magic Keys (http://www.symbian-freak.com/downloads/freeware/cat_s60_3rd/descriptions/systools/magic_keys_remap_and_extend_your_keyboard.htm)

Remap key 192 (zoom left) to 186. Then remap also 193 (zoom right) to 186 (operator key - not available on 6710).

Setup Magic Keys to start on boot. Then reboot the phone.

This prevents some of the zooming although once in a while, Magic Keys misses it.

I have a Canon Power Shot A580 i just want to erase some photos from the camera thats it

Put the camera in picture review mode. Then use the zoom to bring up thumbnail diplays. Use the up/down, right/left buttons to navigate to the individual picture that you want to erase. Then press the "trashcan" button on the back of your camera. Select yes when it asks if you want to delete this picture.

Alternately you can delete all the pictures by again selecting picture review mode, pressing "menu", then scrolling to "erase all" pictures.

Zooming the pictures

You have to go to the pictures through the My Stuff option after the picture is saved to the phone. You can't do it while you are looking at the preview of the shot you just took
