Question about Washing Machines
Thank You for contacting Fixya.com
The problem is a defective water control valve. This is the only thing that will cause the water to continue to run when your washer is turned off. It most likely has particles that were dislodged when you were cleaning the hose and they are keeping the valve from closing. Replace the valve and you will have no more problems with the water running all the time.
Have a nice day.
