Re: venturer hdp3202bs mp3 player

I have the same device and the same problem, tried downloading the drivers and it didnt work but i am using winxp and the download is for win98, i get mine to work by charging it for a while then connecting it to the computer while it's still charging, sometimes it takes a few tries, they copy all the music to another device and then fire the mp3 as far away as you can or use it for rough use in the car,I know its a shame cause other they that problem its not to bad,

All drivers and firmware for the venturer hdp3202bs 40g mp3 player can be found at

it should be possible to replace a faulty drive with a similar 2.5" laptop drive and then reinstall the system from the above link, hope this helps.

Re: venturer hdp3202bs mp3 player

Sounds like the hard drive has failed, you could replace the hard drive with another ide laptop 2.5" device but you also need to have the system files for the new drive to function.

Don't have a software to download music

Hello Nurock_nu107,

If you are trying to find music online to download, so that you can put them on your mp3 player then you can use company's such as Napster. I can not condone the use of Illegal music sites.

If you are wanting to put the music you already have onto the mp3 player sansa does not give out a special program to do so.

You can use windows media player or a program called winamp (google it if youd like) and you can open them, plug in your mp3 player and it will find the device. You can then drag and drop your music files onto the device as shown on the program.

Your second option is simply opening My Computer, plug in your mp3 player and when windows finds it a new drive will show up on your My Computer screen. This is your mp3 device. You can drag and drop your music files to this drive and it will transfer them to your mp3 player.

If you have any further question's or comment's feel free to post them and I will be of further assistance. Have a good day and thank you for choosing Fixya!

Mp3 player dmp450n; tracks stored and play alphabetically; how do I make the device play album tracks in original order

Renaming not needed...Copy the album onto the folder which you use to drag and drop music to the player and then drag it again into the music folder which is a sub folder of the folder where you just copied the music to. This means you are copying from an area on the player to another area. This will keep the track listing that you originally have for the album and means no change is needed to mp3 tags.

How do i get my music on to a hand-me-down mp3 player?

there are two probable ways.

1: using any software package that come with it.

2: using the drag and drop theory, just open a window explorer with the music player opened in it, and then drag you rmusic files there and "drop" them into the player.

Formated the SanDisk Sansa E280

You dragged & dropped files in recovery mode? Recovery mode is only for re-installing the firmware or formatting the device if it is unresponsive. If you are wanting to drag and drop files onto the device, the music needs to be put into the Music folder on the device. If you do not see the Music folder, you will need to enable hidden files and folders on your PC. Best of Luck. p.s. - you can add to this question this doesnt work.

Is your device connected directly to the PC, not thru a hub? Is it a laptop? Do you have Windows XP / SP 2? Do you have Windows Media Player 10 or higher?
