Try manually choosing lower resolutions in your xbox display settings. My Insignia HDTV does that when switching resolutions like on Hulu in between commercials and then back to the show but only for a second or so. Also does this when going from the loading screens to the game screens for a few seconds when playing the game Split/Second

How do I get sound from my Xbox to my monitor via a hdmi lead - DVD lead

As far as I know, the DVI cable can't send sound, so if you could use a only-HDMI cable or SCART cable, that should give you both picture and sound.

Its the same

Hi,
you need to be more specific with your Problem/Question.
The Obvious things to check, is that you have the tv tuned into the channel your xbox is on. sometimes change to A/V HDMI AUX et,c.
if you have a composite lead from console to tv. check that the small switch is set to RGB Or HDMI As required.
ensure that the cable inputs are correct. yellow/picture. red/white sound.
if you are using an hdmi cable, check your hdmi channels.
finally. remove the A/V to tv cable from the 360. push it in Firmly. And re-check Cables To TV Colours Match.
if you are getting any red lights on the console, the graphics scaler chip may be faulty, and need repairing.

I HAVE SOUND BUT NO PICTURE

im not 100 per cent sure but do you have 2 start lead connections (they look like this) 216bed3.jpg If you do, plug the lead into the other plug (in the pics case, the blue one above)
I have to do this with my xbox becuase my tv has 2 plug sockets- one only lets image but no sound, and the other is both. try it and let me know if it works.

Xbox 360-no audio output

You may need to go into your TV settings and turn on HDMI Audio. If this is not enabled (Typically on HDMI 1) The TV will not ask the 360 for Audio and as such won't pull it.

No sound from my xbox 360

You cant have HDMI and the xomponent cables pluged in at the same time.
to get audio to your monitor you will need an xbox 360 audio adapter. You can find that here. http://www.xbox.com/en-us/hardware/x/xbox360hdmiavcable/default.htm

That comes with the HDMI and audio adapter.
You can probabaly find it seperate somewhere else.

I hope this helps.

Xbox 360 sound problem

HDMI carrys no sound you still need to have the audio cables from the component plugged into the tv. If this doesnt do the trick you should call MS or check your TV's settings maybe there is a special function when using that resolution. Hope this helps.
