If the Charging slot is broken the you should buy the one alternate charger china made charger in that charge direct you charge you battery, after charge the batter plug-in and transfer all contact in your sim card. after that your Sim card in you other mobile you can find your all contact.
I am going to assume that when you say it took you a while to get it to charge last time, you had to wiggle the charger around and then get it in just the right spot to get the phone to charge, if this is the case there are only 2 solutions try another charger if that works you just have a bad charger, if that fails than something in the port on the phone is bent loose or broken and it will need to be repaired in your providers repair center, if u have insurance u might need to file a claim.
well about the arrows being upside down, some phones like this one the charger goes in up side down like for example the katanas. But about the charging issue check in the back of the phone and look for a red or white sticker or maybe pink. if its red then thats indicating that it has been water damaged and if its white then that indicates that if might not be but if you look in the charge port and check if it has like some green and white corosion in it. Try taking out the batteryand putting back in after 1 min, if phone still does not turn on try a different charger if possible, and if that doesnt work it's probably the battery unless the phone has been introduced to any forms of liquid. You can get cheap chargers or batteries on ebay or I can get you one prettycheap as well. Let me know if you have any more questions.
This is phone's software problem. It comes when u pulled out battery in on phone's position. You can give it to repair to any skilled technician or to company customer support. They will put it right. This is not a big problem. If u found this a step towards solving your problem, do vote here.
Help!!! I have had Sanyo Katana SCP6600B for about 16 months. My first problem with it arose the other day. The battery ran dry, so I attempted to recharge. After a couple of hours ,I attempted to restart the phone. It wouldn't re-activate. When I plug the phone into the re-charger, it comes on for about five minutes; ( I can call out, retrieve messages , check my contact list , etc.) , and then goes dead. I can only get it going again by unplugging the charger, and then re-connecting it....
So now I have a cell phone which only works when plugged into the mains, and then only temporarily! Not very practical...
Can anyone suggest what is the problem, and if it can be fixed?
