Question about Dell Inspiron 6000 Notebook
My Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop's battery is overheating. It is un touchable sometimes. The light also flashes orange sometimes, even when it is charging. Also, when the laptop used to charge, it had a constant green light when charging, now it flashes green, and sometimes orange and green. Tried to make sure battery is in place properly but still appears.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello I own a Dell Inspiron 6400, i guess what happened was that it must have overheated of so but its on the screen your system automatically powered off because it became warmer than expected. This may have been caused by:o) operating or storing the system in an environment where ambient temperature is too high or o) obstructing the air flow from the system fan vents. if this problem recurs please call dell support with error code #M1004. strike the f1 key to continue. f2 to run the setup utility pressf5 to run onboard diagnostics.
