My john deere x530 is acting like it is starving for fuel after about 30 to 45 min of mowing. I changed the gas. checked the hoses put a new fuel filter and fuel pump on and took cab apart and clean

I have several that the vent in the fuel cap is plugged. When it starts acting up loosen the fuel cap and see if it starts running right. This was common on the models with the PIN number 060000 or earlier.

Hi, I have a John Deere Z225 with an 18.5 Briggs

Although, this does sound like a fuel issue due to past experiences I want to say the problem might not be fuel at all, but before we go that route try one thing. On that particular model I believe the gas cap is vented, if so try running it till it acts up, then remove the gas cap for a moment and see if the engine returns to running normal, if not I believe your coil is going out. I have seen alot of these engines recently where the works fine but when the get hot they quit functioning all together or only function part of time which in your case would indicate why it is missing and fowling the plug. When these tend to do this after they cool back down they function properly again until they get heated up again. I hope this helps you.

John deere lt155 lawn tractor shuts off when it gets hot while mowing, could this be electrical?

I had a similar problem lasy year.
Try this:
As soon as the machine seems to be stalling, loosen the gas cap.
If the engine continues to run, clean the gas cap vent hole(s).

John Deere LX188 17hp Kawasaki eng. Battery light constantly on; PTO for mower intermittent; will shut down after running for about an hour(battery discharge?). Suspect voltage regulator. Can't...

I have same problem with my lx188 battery light stays on and will run fine at idle, then I can mow for about 15mins then it powers down and run rough, and battery light dims down.
???? Is it the voltage regulator ?

My John Deere L130 riding mower quits after it has been running

A John Deere repair guy showed me how to fix this. It is very simple. Remove the gas cap. Pop out the liner in the gas cap with a thin pocket knife. Clean out the cap. From the top of the cap, where it comes to a peak, take a very fine point (even a small knife blade will do) and make sure the little hole in the top (that you didn't know was there) is clear. The engine is starving because the gas tank is not properly vented. I suffered with this problem for two years until he came to sharpen my blades and I asked him about this. A two minute, free fix did it and I have never had problems again.
