Question about Sony STR-DB1070 Receiver
Replace the amplifier section, it is ready to **** out on you. This is exactly what mine did. If you have proper ventilation and have a fan on it to cool it you may get some additional time out of it.

Check all your speaker connections and make sure there are no shorts where any of the negative wires can come in contact with any of the positive wires.
