Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I bought a very nice toshiba record player from goodwill. Anyways I plugged it in and turntable is not spinning (manually it does spin)- I do hear a hum but the arm won't move (I already know I need to buy a needle for it). What could be the problem? TOSHIBA SR-230
I am not familiar with that particular model, but the hum is probably the motor. I would check to see if the belt has slipped off or even exists. I'll look it up tonight and update this if I find out more.
