It looks like you've narrowed it down to a settings issue. If it is saying "No Signal" while on AV2, then you need to switch to AV1 where your video signal is. A remote might be available online from XO Vision (www.xovision.com) directly or on E-bay. You might also be able to find a local dealer of XO Vision from their website. One quick fix you can try....since the monitor has 2 video inputs and is stuck on AV2, you can simply get video by unplugging the video input on AV1 and plugging it into AV2. Hope this was helpful.
Use DVM to check if you have 12VDC to player. If you have no DVM, you can use small car light bulb with leads. If bulb lits from ground and hot wires, then player is bad. Or most likely a loose connections.
you probably set the audio for 5-channel. In a 5-channel set up. Which it doesnt sound like you have there is a 5th speaker in the center of the dash dedicated for clear vocals. Play with surround options and i'll bet you can fix it
