Where is the egr valve located on a 2003 chevy 4.3 astro van? I think it not funtioning properly

The EGR Valve is located on the front of the Engine under the frest air tube. It is at a 45' angle. When checking look for lodged carbon chunks. I recommend using a gesket with a screen built in. It is located infront of the Thermostat housing.

I need a vacuum line schematic for a 2003 Chevy Astro Van. My AC only blows out of the defroster vents. I've replaced 2 lines so far but it has not fixed the problem yet.

Replace the complete heater control vacuum line over the motor with rubber vacuum tubing.
The heater vacuum line connects on the drivers side of the engine halfway back on the intake manifold.Run the new line to the heater vac connection at the passenger side at the right front in the engine compartment.
I change 2 a week....this should be where your problem is.

Ac is blowing hot air front and back= chevy astro van 2003

when you turn on ac look for front ac clucth to be turning. if it is feel the lines up to the cowl if they are cold 40 degrees or so theres probably enough charge with the year of that vehicle it maybe low on charge ac systems will usally hold for at least 5 years.

2002 Chevy Astro van front end makes grinding noise

sounds like a possible wheel bearing issue or brake pad issue!!! i would definatly have this looked at, but in the meantime, make sure that it isnt just a backing plate contacting the rotor ...hope this was helpful!!

I have a 1999 chevy astro van that I need to replace the engine, I'm instaling a used one from the jonke yard, the questions is which way should I pulled the engine out, because everything is weld on....

One quick call to the , or a wrecking yard and ask them, would be all you need. They do them all the time. We always removed grille assy & came out through front, but that was a few years back since I've done one of those, so things may have changed. They'll tell you from experience.
