The battery has a bad cell, this is what causes the battery to discharge.

After sitting one week the batteries are dead. Seems as if something is draining the batteries. I switched the tow switch on when not in use.Batteries are about four months old.

Seems like you're definitely right. Get wiring schematic for your bike sounds like you're grounded out somewhere. Get yourself a battery tender or you may need a new battery cuts the voltage on the battery should be about 12.671 V not running

Battery just changed, but then went dead. Battery Tender blinks red.

Its possible the charger is telling you the battery is too dead for the charger to work. A safety feature to keep from burning up the charger.
I'm not aware of any fuses between the jumping post and the battery. You may have a short in the car that is draining power.

Battery changing

I installed Battery Tender and ran plug to convenient location on side of bike. I keep bike plugged in whenever I'm not riding. If you just need to charge it, remove cover and connect directly to terminals. I'd recommend trickle charge overnight rather than rapid charge.

Bike runs great, but after riding a while it will not restart without a push. For a few weeks it would restart after sitting for a while, but that no longer helps, it has to be push started.

Is your battery fully charged and the charging system fully operational? If you haven't, already, try charging the battery to a full charge, then put load tester on the battery, checking for a dead cell or two. Has the bike been stored or setting for several weeks or more? If so, you could have a gum buildup in the jets abd passages of the carb.

My mother has a 2006 LS 430 Lexus with only 5500 miles. The battery dying is a constant issue. She goes to start the car and it is dead. She has replaced the battery three times. No electrics are left on....

It sounds like the Alternator is bad or isn't charging teh battery completely. Or if this is the same station that has been selling her batteries they have a bad batch of weak batteries. Have the battery tested for dead cells. If there are none then put it on a charge and fully charge it and test the alternator. Auto zone can test both and will do so for free but you will have to remove the alternator for testing.

You have a voltage drain on your bike while the key is off that is why the tender wont full charge the battery. If you have any electrical accessories such as an alarm try disconnecting them they may be draining your battery while sitting. If no accessories then you have a short somewhere in the harness causing the drain.

Kazuma battery will not hold a charge

This is a common problem with chinese atvs. I installed a toggle switch on the positive wire from the battery. When my daughter is finished riding, I simply flip the switch and all power to the bike is killed, preserving the battery.

Battery location

remove the two bolts on the sides of the seat (also mounting bolts for the rear # plates)

the battery is laying on its side near the from of the sub frame (seat support) with the terminals facing the front.

IMPORTANT!!! do not ever try and jumpstart this bike!! remove the batt from the bike before charging.

you will blow fuses, relays, and bulbs if you dont follow this.!!!!
possibly even the ECM could fry.

take the time to remove the bat. and i would recommend a "battery tender" to keep her all charged up

feel free to ask me anything else!!!
