Question about GE Refrigerators
The most common fridge "not cooling" problem is a frost free failure. If the coils in the freezer section get plugged up with frost, this frost will block the evaporator fan motor from blowing the cold air around. The fan blade can also hit this frost and either becomes noisy or stop altogether. By turning it off and then on for few hours might have melted the frost and has made the circuit breaker to reset itself, that’s the reason its working fine now. As its still under warranty just get it checked by the service tech. to avoid future issues.
Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.
