Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
You have got a YLOD, Yellow Light of Death. The best and cheapest solutions would be to fixthis problem yourself. It would be much cheaper and faster then sending it to Sony for repair,or anyother shop who would charge anywhere between $50 - 100.
I fixed YLOD myself using the repair guide purchased from
here, cost me only $8
came with a video guide and pictorial and step by step guide. very helpful! You can get it using Paypal.

Did you try to force the pS3 reset mode? press the power button for 08 seconds and wait the system restart...release and wait it reboot...if the problem persists...try to change and install a new sata hdd and restore the ps3 system...see if your ps3 hdd is really ok...test it...Or could be the Ps3 Motherboard hardware problem...called YLOD...does your Ps3 light flashes yellow??
