Convert to raid 1 after Vista install

Intel DP45SG Motherboard. Vista 64 bit already installed w/o raid. How can I convert to raid 1 without reinstalling Vista?

I have just installed 2 extra 750gb hard drives besides the current 640gb which has the OS(Vista 64-bit) and programs, etc. The problem is that Intel says that since the BIOS was not set for "RAID Ready" when the OS was originally installed, Vista has to be reinstalled in order to setup the new hard drives as RAID 1. I was wondering if there was some process I could use that wouldn't disturb all that has been done since the OS was installed.

Install at least 2 more hard-drives, and configure them to use RAID.

Then, copy/move all your data-files from "My Documents" onto the new drive-set. The point here is to have "backup" for your files, not for the Operating System files (which can be re-installed from CD/DVD).

Your "programs" can stay on the "current" disk-drive.

I have an intel workstation S5520sc + 24 gb ram + 2 * 1.5 terra hdd raid 0 + pcie vga ati 1 gb. i'm trying to install window 7 ent. 64 bits, but the installation hang on ;" completing...

Try reducing the RAM size leaving only 8 gb, be sure that the RAM chips are identical and compatible with the motherboard (you can look at the manual for this) and placed correctly in the memory banks.
Give me more details of the memory time and BIOS adjustments (overclocked RAM? CPU? )

Do I need to install the 32-bit or 64-bit windows vista on a intel 845GE p4 processor?

You can install both if the processor supports it, just that the 64-bit version will run terribly slow - your motherboard is very old and extremely weak.
Actually you should stay with XP, Vista will run very slow whatever the version.
