I was setting the time on my Timex Ironman T5G041, when the display "froze" while trying to set the minutes. It reads "SET TIME", with the top left button reading "DONE", bottom left "NEXT", lap button "+" and bottom right "-". Nothing changes regardless of the buttons I press. Is there some way to reset Timex watches?

First look for the set button then press it ,a long press and If it is blinking that's the time you to select the hour ,the minutes, the day/date,the alarms and the special features of your watch. The right button the up and down or for scrolling.Try all of this so your time will set.
This is out of memory so bare with me. Push and hold the "set" button as if you were going to set the time. Now continue to push the "mode" button that moves from hours, minutes, date, beep setting, alarm setting, etc. Eventually you will come to the Golf setting which will ask whether or not you want to display it. Select yes, push the "set" button again, scroll through, and voila.
