Question about Xplore Technologies Xplore iX104C2 Tablet PC

Open Question

The screen on the Xplore I104C2 is blank

The unit worked fine on Thursday 3rd. On Monday when turned on the machine made the normal startup sounds but the screen was blank. Connected it to a monitor but also blank. Took battery out and waited 15 min. Battery back in-blank. Left battery out and connected to AC-same problem, blank. took battery out and let sit in office for several days. Put battery back in-works fine. Any heat-related issues anyone knows of or any thoughts would be appreciated. BTW, the reset button had no effect.

I was given 3 of these devices and they seem pretty cool but, after looking in the box I don't see any A/C charging units or any other type of charging units, what gives?

According to a "review" written in September 2005:

  • AC adapter & Power cord
  • warranty booklet

So, when "new", there should have been an AC adapter.

I don't have a sound card

in that case get yourself a USB sound "Card" these simply plug into a USB port, and you hook up the speakers to that. They work real great

ASUS F3S startup problems...

Have you tried doing a system recovery using the "hot" keys for the machine. Contact ASUS support for the instructions.

Screen goes balnk

u have virus problem.or corrupt window.
start pc press F8 key go to safe mode.
if u enter in widows your pc has virus infection,
if not repair yyour windows
