Question about GPS
I have a Garmin nuvi 350. There are new entrances to the Fl. turnpike and also newly constructed entrances to I-4 in Orlando. My GPS does not have the new changes therefore We are always in the wrong lane.
These are mapping issues and is not an indication that there is a problem with your unit. You didn't mention what year of map is on your unit. You can find this out by pressing the wrench symbol on the main menu and then the map icon and then "map info".
the 2010 map is now out but all maps were created at least a year before they are released for purchase. It is very possible that some new roads may not be included if they were constructed after the map was released.
You can also notify the map company about certain roads that are missing but I would first make sure that your unit's map is the latest release. This is not a Garmin issue.

A map update "may or may not" fix the problem, because it depends on the date of the map updates and when the construction took place.
you can go HERE and download and install the web updater and follow the instructions.
it will tell you if there is an update for your maps
let me know if you need further help
