First you ensure that problem in keyboard or PC keyboard port. you can checked it with another keyboard.if it is working then your keyboard is faulty otherwise PC keyboard is faulty.

Catherine, Try compressed air to blow dust and debris from key board, try a system restore to an earlier date, you could also try re installing key board/driver, you may also have faulty key board and need to replace..

I bought an emachine computer in January. 2 weeks ago the keyboard quit working. I tried another keyboard and that does not work either, what do I do.


to find the problem with key board & mother boarb Slot....? if u r key board usb port than conect another port restart the pc. key board not responding and the problem with key board. replace it

Key board do not work


Right this is a wild shot but here we go....

If you are using PS/2 connectors for keyboard and mouse make sure they are the right way round
If you are usin USB m+k then amke sure you are using the BACK USB ports only and preferable the first two that are seperate.

Key board numbers and lights wont work
