Phil n teds sport pushchair: the weight of 2 toddlers has meant the shopping basket drags along the floor and now has massive hole in the fabric and renders the main part of the buggy unusable, but they claim it can be used for 2 toddlers so i'm disappointed. how can i mend it or replace it?

Hi,
You can try to get the part replaced under warranty if this is less than one year old through your retailier. Alternatively you can contact Out n About directly who will be able to sell you the part. This would normally be around £25-£30.

Finding wheels for strollers is always a problem unless they sell them as spare parts like Bugaboo does. Check with Phil & Teds if they're unhelpful a plastic wheel can be repaired provided the tyre is still good. Google plastic welders (yes plastic can be welded) find one local and show them the wheel. In Australia there is a Stroller repair shop that stocks new and secondhand parts called Karlisles. They ship internationally

Yes, You need a philips screw driver for the lower basket. You will have to remove the push bar handle by depressing the metallic plugs that sit below the fabric seat. There is one on each side? Once you unsnap all the snaps, even from the carriage frame, the fabric will just pull right off.
My Maclaren pushchair's front wheel has the same problem although I have used it for nearly a year. The staff of Mothercare shop suggested me to order the spare. However, it will cost us up to £30 while the pushchair cost only £80. I am thinking about buying a new pushchair, not Maclaren of course.
