I want to reset my computer to factory as if i just bought it

You can reset only the bios,or run the system recovery if you have sysmtem recovery in you unit... as is all the program, some computer they put os linux ( that is from the factory default os linux,, if you mean as factory defualt, you should also install the linux os..original from the factory default.....

Performing a basic reset A basic reset will force your eReader to restart properly. In many cases, this is enough to restore your eReader to normal.
  1. If possible, turn off your eReader.
  2. Locate the small hole on the bottom of your eReader.
  3. Unfold a paperclip and slide an end into the hole.
  4. Press gently until you feel a click. Your eReader should restart.

Restore to factory condition


Launch the HP recovery application that should be installed on your computer. Then select the factory reset option. You Hit F2 when The Computer Is Booting Up then You Go into The BIOS And Somewhere In there It Should Give you The Option To Set the Computer Settings To Defalt.

Run the same procedure again and choose factory settings. It wd do so , unless the recovery partition got corrupted.

Factory reset


This would need to be completed with a disc that came with your machine that contains an compressed DVD or CD of your computer with all software that was installed (if it was custom built) or by using an operating system full install disc (if the computer was bought from a store off the shelf.) Reset to factory settings


when booting your laptop once you see the Acer logo start tapping ALT + F10 that should boot into the restore partition & let you restore to factory defaults.
